Amanda Daneker

Assistant Coach

Amanda Daneker was promoted to assistant coach in September 2021 after serving as a volunteer assistant coach since August 2018.

Daneker works with the hitters and catching defense.

Along with her main duties with the Chanticleers, Daneker assists with the Coastal softball camps where she helps refine each camper’s skills in all areas of softball such as catching, hitting, and infield.

Daneker spent five years on the Chants softball squad (2014-18) where she was earned second team All-Big South and first-team All-Freshman in 2014 when she hit .304 and seven home runs and 34 RBI. In 2015, as a sophomore Daneker earned herself a second-team all-conference as she it .340, including .426 in Big South play.

Daneker earned her bachelor’s of science degree in exercise and sport science in May 2017.
